the gallos secret 

The Gallos Secret is a short film in the under 30 minute catagory about a girl who trains and competes with her collection of fighting roosters.  Its a dance piece, its very sensual, its disturbingly beautiful.  And no roosters will be killed during the filming of this short piece.   Lots of special effects to represent the fight scenes.   But all that said this is a cultural portrait, a portrait of the sicarrio mentality, and a tradition that has been around longer than all most of the cultures who criticize Mexico for it.  This film does not condone Rooster fighting and is not trying to change anyones minds towards the good of it, but it will be fully charged cinematic event that features a beautifully erotic performance artist playing the ex sicarrio who now fights roosters for money.
