THE ART SHOW
31 pieces of art almost completed stolen January 1, 2020.
Made of wood, ink, paint, photos, words, elements from the environment, fused in clean clear resin and at a cost of 20,000 dollars it was a devestating moment and then from there led clearly into the Covid Pandemic. It´s a miracle the dream is still alive.
The show was meant as a statement on our American border, the issues there that our film focuses on, and mostly it tells the story of Lydia Ramirez, a five year old girl who died of thirst after crossing into Texas.
The show is also a fund raising strategy for the kids of the Mesa Colorada Barrio who are in many of the images, and our films as actors.
The film we hope will be narrated by Rene Russo. Rene is also the honorary curator of the show
